課程概述

This course introduces students to empirical methods in applied analysis on economic development topics. This course especially focuses on micro data analysis. Topics include: (1) empirical methods, (2) micro data analysis, (3) microfinance, (4) index insurance, (5) risk-coping and informal insurance, (6) health, (7) nutrition, (8) labor market, and (9) inequality and development. 

課程目標
 The objective of this course is to introduce students to important topics in economic development and familiarize students with knowledge and skills in statistical analysis. By the end of this course, students should have a broad sense of how to conduct empirical research on economic development topics.
